The work “oscillate, stop” uses the surface of
digital communication through instant messaging
services to freeze a moment of confrontation
from the past.
The contrasting materiality of the sculptures—
between industrially manufactured mass product
and fragile pressed-fiber form—intensifies this romanticizing gaze.
On closer inspection, the façade begins to crumble, revealing traces of a vulnerable, fragmented memory.
